Emerson Lake & Palmer - From The Beginning (5CD) (2007)

Si fundamentales ya que iniciaron junto a los otros grandes de esa tendencia (Rock Progresivo), Yes, Pink Floyd, Genesis y King Crimson, iniciaron una verdadera revolucion llevando al rock a su maxima expresion.

Inicialmente iba a llamarse HELP, pues incluiría en sus filas a Jimi Hendrix, pero su muerte en septiembre de 1970, truncó el proyecto.

Emerson provenía del grupo The Nice, con 5 Lp's publicados, Greg Lake participó como bajista y vocalista en los dos primeros álbumes de King Crimson, y Carl Palmer fue batería de Atomic Rooster, grupo de rock sicodélico The Crazy World of Arthur Brown.

Mostly Autumn es una banda británica , produciendo música fuertemente influenciada por el rock clásico de 1970. El grupo se formó en 1996, y han construido su reputación a través de constantes giras, nunca firmar con un sello grande. Primeras influencias del grupo fueron Génesis , renacentista y Pink Floyd , y la música popular 

MOSTLY AUTUMN  su música puede ser descrita como rock atmosférico potente con un toque celta, influenciada por Pink Floyd, Deep Purple y GENESIS, y con reminiscencias de los años 70 FLEETWOOD MAC y Fairport Convention. Su sonido incorpora los usos de la flauta, silbidos bajos y centavo, violines y armonías vocales - a través de una poderosa banda, que existe de teclados, dos guitarristas, bajo y batería. Esta banda sigue creciendo en la descripción clásica de una banda progresiva. Después de cada disco que mejor y mejor. Mostly Autumn actualmente tiene 6 álbumes hasta la fecha. Tercer álbum es su más maduro hasta la fecha. Una gran mezcla de influencias de CAMEL, PINK FLOYD, renacentista y algunos Folkish Jethro Tull. Grabado en noviembre de 2001 en un plazo muy corto, "Music Inspired By The Lords Of The Rings" no es el opus verdadero esperada, sino más bien un homenaje respetuoso a JRR Tolkien "El Señor de los Anillos", una obra maestra intemporal de la literatura fantástica.
